Who Makes This Content
One person is behind etop.com.ua: checking exchange data, keeping the ranking and exchange reviews updated, and answering for everything that gets published. This isn’t a newsroom of dozens of journalists, and I’m not pretending it is.
How I Verify Facts
- Volume and liquidity data come only from independent sources (CoinGecko), not from what exchanges claim about themselves.
- Fees and rates are checked against the exchange’s official page and public API as of the publish/update date.
- Site popularity and app ratings come from public data: Tranco and the App Store.
- Crypto card terms come from the exchanges’ official pages, with the check date shown on the page. Cards are not scored.
- I know most of the exchanges in the ranking as a user, including registration and identity verification.
When and Why I Update Content
The ranking is reviewed once a month, and off-schedule when I learn of a major security incident at one of the exchanges. Exchange reviews are updated when significant new information appears: a regulatory change, a fee change, a hack.
Independence of the Scores
Some links on the site are referral links (more detail on the disclosure page). The size of the payment from an exchange doesn’t affect its score in the ranking methodology.
Use of AI Tools
AI tools help draft text. Facts and final decisions about scores are always the site author’s own. No text is published without the author’s review.
Correcting Errors
If you find an inaccuracy, email me at support@etop.com.ua. I fix errors and note the correction date on the page.
