I have been in business since 2010, in crypto since 2016, and since 2020 I also invest and trade on the stock market.
On the stock market a broker is judged by its license and regulator. I judge crypto exchanges on the same principle: license, liquidity, fees, reputation. Each criterion has a weight, an exchange’s score is the weighted sum, and the formula is open in the methodology.

Who This Site Was Built For
When I was first figuring out crypto exchanges, what I missed most was an honest comparison without hidden advertising. eTop.com.ua is my attempt to build the comparison I wish I’d had.
How I Collect Data
For the exchange ranking, five of the seven criteria are calculated automatically from open sources: CoinGecko, the App Store and regulator registers. Two criteria, Ukraine market support and ease of use, are my own assessment and are labeled as such. The app ranking is calculated from App Store and Google Play data, and for crypto cards I take the terms from the exchanges’ official pages and give them no score.
